Bushnell Range Finder Review

There is no doubt accurate information about the distance you have to the target including the pin is a vital area for every golfer to concentrate on during the round. We have tested all of theBushnell Range Finder products in their golf section and we can reveal our findings below.
The one major factor is the accuracy, because if you do not know how far you have to go you will not know what club to select. We can narrow the selection of Bushnell Range finders down straight away to four models, the Bushnell 1500 slope, 1500 tournament, V2 Tour and the Medalist as they all have Bushnell’s Pinseeker technology.
So what is Pinseeker technology and how does it work? The Pinseeker technology provides you with the distance to the closest object , so it is ideal for picking out a small pin even if there are other objects in the background for example trees. Other technology will pick up the furthest object making it impossible
to get an accurate reading. With the four choices available within this section of the Bushnell rangefinder all of the products mentioned before have their merits.
Let’s take the 1500 Slope first of all as this is Bushnell’s top of the range. It has a very good magnification and great for easily seeing the targets. It also has a clever piece of technology as it can measure the elevation of a slope and calculate how far the shot will play. For example if our target was 150 yards away but uphill, the Bushnell 1500 Slope would tell you the distance, the elevation of five degrees, then calculate
how the shot is actually playing, in this instance 159 yards so you would think that this has to be the ultimate range finder and it is, however it is not tournament legal and you have to switch the slope option off. You can use the slope on for practice rounds and fun rounds but in a tournament the slope option has to be turned off.
The 1500 tournament has the same magnification as the Bushnell Slope and is perfectly legal to play
in tournaments. The English Golf Union has now given their blessing to the use of range finders in their
major competitions and this model is the commonly used both by professionals and amateurs alike.
TheBushnell V2 Tour is the baby of the Bushnell range and will easily fit in the palm of your hand
and your trouser pocket. Its light compact design makes this mode a very popular choice as it’s almost
half the size of the other range finders. So you would think that the Bushnell V2 tour has to be the best choice with its Pinseeker technology. In our testing though it was only accurate to within 2 yards where all of the other Bushnell range finders were accurate to with 1 yard. I’m not sure if any golfer could control the flight of the golf ball to within 1 yard, so this is still a very popular product.
Bushnell Medallist is the starting point in terms of price in the Bushnell Range it has Pinseeker technology
and is accurate to within 1 yard with the only drawback being that it is a 5 times magnification rather than the seven times magnification that some of the other range finders possess.
All of the models have something for everyone, regardless of your choice one thing for certain your club selection and distance control will only be enhanced by a Bushnell range finder making your game more fun through gaining lower scores.
