A blended set design which offer forgiveness in the long irons and added trajectory control in the mid irons and short iron. The larger long irons are engineered to launch higher and carry farther. The mid irons are sized for stability and a medium trajectory. The short irons produce a lower, more controlled trajectory and the size progresses for performance from all conditions.
This design allowed our engineers to remove 5 grams from the CTP while providing the proper structure and support behind the face to ensure consistent distance control. This discretionary weight is repositioned to optimise the centre of gravity location. The new design also features stabilising bars for enhanced feel.
Stronger mid irons with weighting for improved distance and trajectory control with proper gapping throughout the entire set.
A 17-4 SS body has been enhanced by the addition of a very dense tungsten toe weight. This added feature increases the MOI by 3% for added forgiveness on off-centre shots while still maintaining the playability of the iron.
The full cavity graphics badge uses a thick foam adhesive to enhance the feel and sound of the club head. This badge technology combined with the Elastomer CTP weight gives this cast thin faced iron the soft, solid feel required in a players iron.
Ascending Weight Technology shafts are designed to have lighter long irons for increased club head speed and higher trajectory and heavier short irons for a penetrating ball fl ight and optimal ball control.
Premium graphite shaft designed by PING utilises lightweight materials and features progressive weight, flex and torsion profiles to increase club head speed for maximum distance while providing optimal launch conditions for superior control, consistency and feel.
The flat top hosel is designed to reduce stress and improve feel while the hosel notch controls the bend point for precise loft and lie adjustments.
