Traditional 460cc Pear-Shaped Head Design that we have seen from Ping Golf on many occasions have helped with the design of the new Ping i15 driver.
The Ping i15 Driver has a high MOI but still allows for playability to work the ball off the tee.
The bulge crown design interacts with the face to provide higher ball speed along with a solid feel and sound.
The internal weighting along with a hosel position slightly further from the face provide traits wanted by competitive golfers including a more penetrating trajectory, significantly less spin and fade biased.
The design utilised has a tighter bulge and roll allowing more weight to be removed from the face which is relocated to optimise the centre of gravity for better launch as well as increased ball speed.
By utilising a slightly longer hosel, this driver design can be bent ±1.5° to further customise the driver for improved performance. All adjustments must be made through PING's WRX department.
The entire club head has been fi nished in a Titanium-Carbon PVD coating to give a sleek and optically pleasing look.
TFC 700D Shaft
This Tour-proven, premium graphite shaft designed by PING utilises lightweight materials, and features progressive weight and flex and torsion profi les to increase club head speed for maximum distance while providing optimal launch conditions for superior control, consistency and feel.
UST Mamiya AXIVcore Tour Red 69 Shaft
Premium graphite shaft designed by UST Mamiya provides a great fitting alternative to the TFC 700 family. This shaft will generally provide a slightly lower launch angle compared to the TFC 700D shaft.
